EEA-ESEM 2022: Schumpeter Lecture. Room: Aula Magna
Searching for jobs has been transformed over the last two decades, from traditional newspaper ads to being mediated mostly on digital platforms. This talk reviews the opportunities this offers for research, both in collecting new data but especially in redesigning the job search process, for example through better information integration. It highlights some of the insights that have been obtained so far, and discusses the many open paths for future work.
