Conserving resources and reducing pollution are among the most pressing challenges facing society. Designing programs to achieve these goals requires an understanding of 1) pollution damages and 2) individuals' and firms' compliance behavior.
I investigate these issues using large administrative datasets and experimental and quasi-experimental methods.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick.

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pavia. Before joining the University of Pavia, I worked as a research economist at the Competence Centre for Microeconomic Evaluation of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy, between 2017 and 2022. My research focuses on applied microeconometrics, with a specific interest in policy evaluation, labour economics, public economics.

Before moving to Bocconi, I worked at the UMichigan's Survey Research Center (Health and Retirement Study), to which I am still affiliated as an adjunct research assistant professor.

My research areas are: Judgement and Decision, Applied Microeconometrics, Human Capital, Family Economics, and Survey Design.
